Responsibilities:
- Devise and execute a strategic vision for Power BI, aligning it with organizational goals and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Design and optimize DAX expressions for calculated columns, measures, and calculated tables to ensure efficient and accurate data modeling.
- Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in Power BI development.
- Optimize Power BI performance by fine-tuning DAX queries, data models, and report designs.
- Implement caching strategies and other performance-enhancing techniques to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Implement and enforce data governance policies specific to Power BI solutions.
- Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data quality, compliance, and the secure handling of sensitive information.
- Establish role-based access controls within Power BI to manage user permissions effectively.
Qualifications:
- (5) years of experience analyzing data and developing reports and dashboards using Power BI data visualization.
- Experience leading the end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions, from data acquisition and transformation to the creation of dynamic and impactful dashboards.
- Ability to architect scalable and efficient data models in Power BI, leveraging DAX to create sophisticated calculations and aggregations.
- Proven experience crafting visually compelling dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights, utilizing DAX for advanced analytics and calculations.
